Cambodia - Myanmar Trade Delegations

With a delegation of 15 representatives from 12 companies operating in the electrical and electronics industry, Turkish Electrical Technology (TET) started negotiations in Cambodia and Myanmar, two prominent countries in Southeast Asia. Established under the coordination of the Ministry of Economy and by organization of TET, the Trade Delegation to Cambodia and Myanmar gave participating countries the opportunity to see the market potential of both countries as well as ASEAN countries.


Setting out with the objective of increasing its exports, companies of Turkish electrical and electronics industry met 61 companies in Cambodia. Among them were KFour Group and LCH Investment Groups, two largest suppliers of electronic products in Cambodia. Comin Khmere, a company with investments in such fields as construction, engineering and infrastructure, also attended the negotiations. While Cambodian economy has undergone a significant period of transformation in the last 10 years, the volume of trade between Cambodia and Turkey has also seen an increase. The growing need for investment in basic infrastructure such as generation and transmission of electricity, and telecommunications, fueled by the economic growth, creates an important potential for Turkish electrical and electronics industry.
