Electric Electronics and Service Exporters Association (TET) organized a sectoral trade mission with the participation of 15 companies for the purpose of improving the business connections with Sweden and Finland. In total, 156 business meetings were held in the two countries.

As the first step of the trade mission, TET Board and company representatives came together with the leading Swedish Companies in the capital city Stockholm. 46 bilateral meetings were held with the representatives of Swedish companies such as Vattenfall, Ahlsel, Nelco and Saljex. The participants also visited factory of Scania that operates in more than 100 countries across the world as one of the distinguished motor brands of the world. The trade volume between Turkey and Sweden was 3.3 billion dollar in the previous year. Sweden is also one of the top countries providing concrete contribution to the foreign policies of the EU.

The next stop of companies from the sector was Finland. In Helsinki that serves as centre for electric-electronics exports, 110 meetings were held between Turkish trade mission and 32 Finn companies including Vattenfall, Eltel, Onninen and Eurolite. Sectoral trade mission visited Espo-the second biggest city in Finland- where the delegation was informed about the future projects.
