Electrical and Electronics Exporters' Association (TET) is a professional institution established on September 2, 1991, by the decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Turkiye. The primary function of TET is to enhance bilateral economic relations and cooperation with other countries in electrical-electronics and energy industries (whitegoods, cables, electrical equipment, electronics) on behalf of its members.
Continuing its uninterrupted activities for over 30 years, TET contributes to 6.3% of Turkey’s total exports, with exports amounting to 16.5 billion USD in 2023, and is the 4th largest export sector.
TET carries out its activities under the umbrella of the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Associations (İMMİB) and is affiliated with the Ministry of Trade, Republic of Türkiye.
Our Objectives
- Organizing trade missions to target markets
- Participating in and organizing national and international fairs
- Arranging buyer delegations
- Analyzing and publishing sectoral data, reports, and market research studies
- Developing cooperation with international institutions
- Organizing trainings, seminars, and meetings related to the industry
- Resolving legal and regulatory challenges faced by member firms
- Informing member firms about international rules by examining the trade regulations and laws of importing countries
- Conducting studies on foreign trade issues, including protecting and promoting the interests of its members within the framework of national interests through engagement with public institutions, NGOs, private sector organizations, and national and international entities
- Carrying out other duties related to foreign trade as assigned by the Ministry of Trade and the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM).
